Dzeel Clinical Community Outreach in 2020
Dzeel Clinical Cares about Community
At Dzeel Clinical we are devoted to giving back to our community. Each quarter we look for new and unique ways to lend a helping hand. As we approached the last quarter of 2020 and with the holidays nearing, we felt our community needed some joy.
Starting in October, our Notes for Nurses program became one of our main focuses. The goal was to spread joy and thanks to our frontline workers through notes from local students. We reached out to schools all over the triangle. Even though they were dealing with their own struggles of virtual learning, they were more than happy to participate. We collected 375 notes (virtual and physical) from ten different schools.
After the collection of the notes was complete, our staff started to email them to nurses across the state and hand delivered personal letters to 6 local healthcare facilities. Through our email efforts alone, our team was able to reach over 32,000 Nurses… 32,000!!!!! We received countless responses of heartfelt thanks from those on the frontlines, who felt loved and appreciated by their community.
Continuing our commitment to our community, our Vice President donated over $500 worth of furniture to a local Habitat for Humanity: Restore. These donations are used to help build safe, affordable homes for families in the community.
Dzeel Clinical, along with our clinicians also made a monetary donation, and a donation of face masks, cleaning supplies, and personal hygiene products to Interact of Wake. Interact of Wake is an organization that desires to end the cycle of domestic violence and to help victims and families of domestic and sexual violence. If you would like to learn more about their cause, please visit their website at https://interactofwake.org/.
